Our base elk camp is located outside of Dubois, WY on the Shoshone National Forest. Dubois is a small western town on your way to Teton National Park and Jackson Hole. Personally, we love the small community of Dubois and appreciate the support to our hunters in the fall. This is a premier wilderness, muleback hunt, that will meet every elk hunter’s expectation’s whether it be an archery or rifle hunt. It takes minimal points to draw and is our most popular hunt we offer. We do recommend that hunters be in good physical condition and have good shooting capabilities.
Will need to fly into Jackson or Riverton and plan on how to get to Dubois. We recommend driving if that is a possibility. Hunters will stay in Dubois meeting our team the morning of the hunt, then making their way to the Double Cabins trailhead, approximately an hour from town. From the trailhead, camp is a three-hour ride into the base camp. The main camp is in Emerald, and we have a second camp in Wiggens. The main camp is wall tents, with cots, a cook tent, and where the mules are attended to. Hunters will ride out daily from camp to different locations, two hunters per one guide, 7-day hunt.

Clients will need to fly into Jackson Hole Airport and rent a car or arrange for a private shuttle to Dubois. The Jackson Hole Airport has multiple links and suggestions; use executive services. This is the clients responsibility and cost.
